New York Business Journal: Security and privacy platform BigID raises $70 million

BigID, a New York City-based privacy and protection technology company, said it has raised $70 million in a Series D funding round.

The data discovery and intelligence company said the latest round was led by by Salesforce Ventures and Tiger Global and joined by Glynn Capital, with participation from existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners, Scale Venture Partners, and Boldstart Ventures.

The latest round brings the company’s valuation to more than $1 billion, BigID said.
